What is the main objective in managing your wealth?
Safeguarding our wealth through a long-term vision, with returns being reinvested in new propositions or alternative initiatives. We have a background in retail, after which our activities evolved into the development of commercial and residential real estate. The returns from these activities are invested with a long-term vision for our family.
Why do you want to invest in private equity?
Investing in private equity offers long-term stability, combined with an attractive return. One of my sons became interested in the world of investing through his studies. This introduced him to private equity, and he is now working in this field himself. During our conversations about the dynamics of private equity, my own interest in this asset class grew. Traditional private equity funds experience a J-curve in each cycle, whereas BB Capital’s fund-of-funds proposition offers the opportunity to smooth out the J-curves of the underlying funds and, in doing so, distribute a targeted recurring annual return. That provides a degree of peace of mind and stability that we would not expect to achieve through stock market-related investment funds.
